Last year 3 million votes were cast for the hundreds of nominated dogs. News coverage reached over a billion people with support coming from legendary and award-winning celebrities such as Betty White, Kristin Chenoweth and Peter Fonda. This year’s show will be televised on the Hallmark Channel.

The annual national competition searches out and recognizes America’s Hero Dogs – often ordinary dogs who do extraordinary things, whether it’s saving lives on the battlefield, lending sight or hearing to a human companion, or just welcoming you home at the end of a hard day.
