The Health Law Firm Sponsors the Orange County Medical Society Meeting

ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. - Sept. 27, 2013 - PRLog -- The Health Law Firm was a Silver Sponsor at the Orange County Medical Society meeting on September 25, 2013. Around 60 members gathered at Leu Gardens in Winter Park, Florida, for the society’s quarterly meeting. Attorneys Michael L. Smith, Carole C. Schriefer and Catherine T. Hollis with The Health Law Firm were present and met with the attending Orange County Medical Society members.

As Silver Sponsors, the attorneys were able to introduce the firm to attendees and hand out materials on “Hot Legal Topics.” The materials included information on the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Omnibus Final Rule, new standards for medical record requirements related to compounded medications, and an overview of ICD-10.
