The DVD MURDERS centers on former homicide detective Brenda Corrino. She was held captive by the DVD murderer while working undercover and sexually assaulted along with three other women. In this thrilling story, Brenda Corrino’s life suddenly leaps from post-traumatic stress disorder recovery to something even worse: murder! Her ex-partner was investigating the bizarre murder of a college student when he inadvertently let his guard down and now he remains comatose in a hospital bed. She owes him her life because he saved her from the DVD murderer two years ago. Brenda recruits her ex-boyfriend, Medical Examiner Dr. Darren Crowe, to help her find out who tried to kill him. They had an intimate relationship before her undercover disaster left her physically and mentally broken. He knows she is dragging around some serious baggage that he needs to help her unload. The romantic electricity between Brenda Corrino and Darren Crowe is contagious. She is smart, sexy and funny, a thirty something woman who knows what it takes to solve a crime and is not afraid to use every weapon she possesses.
