Age appropriate cancer screenings topic of free lecture

GEORGETOWN, S.C. - Sept. 26, 2013 - PRLog -- Georgetown, S.C. — Dr. Betsy Adams, a physician with Waccamaw Oncology, will be the featured speaker at a free seminar on cancer screenings at noon Wednesday, Oct. 9, at Wachesaw Conference Center in Murrells Inlet.

Adams’ talk is titled “Cancer Screenings and Age Appropriate Guidelines.” She will discuss the importance of a healthy lifestyle and steps to prevent cancer. The event will last about an hour and include opportunities for participants to ask questions.

Lunch will be served. Space is limited. The event is being hosted by Georgetown Hospital System.
