LIVERPOOL, U.K. - Sept. 26, 2013 - PRLog -- The K-Club, Liverpool, a by-invitation-only business club for successful entrepreneurs was officially launched at its first meeting by the city’s Lord Major Councillor Gary Millar yesterday.

Sixty business people from across Merseyside and further afield gathered at the Liverpool Innovation Park to hear founder Graham Clarke explain how the K-Club concept, originally founded in Manchester, would give business communities a greater voice.

Mr Clarke, a Chester-based interim finance specialist, said he was ‘delighted’ with the turn-out for the Liverpool club’s first quarterly meeting and was confident that attendance figures would grow as the club became better known.

He then introduced speakers Kevin Doran, a senior funding manager with Brown Shipley and Chris Arnold, the founder of the Smaller Earth Group.

Councillor Millar gave a short talk about entrepreneurship before welcoming the K-Club to the city and wishing it a successful future.

After the event, Mr Clarke, who was a co-founder of the hugely successful K-Club Manchester said:”The K-Club is a wonderful opportunity for business owners across Liverpool to keep in touch with each other and have a finger on the pulse of the business community.  I am convinced the K-Club Liverpool will have a very bright future.”
