SemperCon and Trenton Thunder announce successful pilot testing of new Trenton Thunder mobile app

TRENTON, N.J. - Oct. 14, 2013 - PRLog -- SemperCon, a mobile and web application development company, and the Trenton Thunder, the Double-A affiliate of the New York Yankees, announced the successful completion of a pilot testing program involving the new Trenton Thunder Fan Photos mobile application for iOS and Android platforms.  The pilot test was run at the Trenton Thunder ARM & HAMMER Park during the last two weeks of the regular season and highlighted the new Fan Photos feature using technology partner InterDigital’s Smart Connectivity & Mobility Services .

The Trenton Thunder Fan Photo application allows fans to follow the Trenton Thunder wherever they go and also includes the special Fan Photos feature which is only available to fans at the ballpark.  In addition to Fan Photos, the Trenton Thunder mobile app provides fans with the latest schedule, game results, league standings, team news, current roster with player stats.  It allows fans to purchase tickets, follow the Thunder on Facebook and Twitter, view seating chart and get directions to ARM & HAMMER Park as well as current weather forecast.

The new Fan Photos feature exclusively allows fans at the ballpark to take photos which can then be uploaded and shown on the stadium videoboard.  Fan Photos is made possible by SemperCon’s CirrusCon API platform using InterDigital’s advanced Application Based Connectivity technology and utilizes a dedicated Wi-Fi network setup at the park for the pilot test.
