SGS Provides Construction Supervision Services for OCENSA in Colombia

Sept. 25, 2013 - PRLog -- SGS ETSA signed an agreement with Oleoducto Central S.A. - OCENSA to carry out construction supervision services for the construction works at 7 storage stations, pumping stations and a maritime terminal for oil dispatch and reception on August 20, 2013. During the two-year contract, 16 on-site SGS supervision specialists will oversee several phases of construction to ensure the successful completion of the interlinked projects aimed at increasing overall transport capacity. Areas to be supervised include civil, mechanical, instrumentation, control and electrical infrastructure as well as fire fighting protection.

OCENSA

One of the major pipelines in Colombia, the OCENSA (https://www.ocensa.com.co/Paginas/default.aspx) oil line connects the Cusiana and Cupiagua fields in the Llanos Basin with the Port of Coveñas on the Caribbean coast.
