ReSource Expands Presence in Allen at the City’s Primary Class A Building

Sept. 24, 2013 - PRLog -- The NAI Robert Lynn Office Division (http://www.robertlynn.com/Default.aspx?tabid=3703) recently arranged the lease of 16,084 square feet of office space to Allen-based insurance replacement services company, ReSource. The company is expanding its 5,481-square-foot office space in One Allen Center, located at 700 North Central Expressway, which is the city’s only current Class A building. A growing company, ReSource chose to expand to keep up with client demand and to accommodate new employees.

“We were very fortunate to find the perfect expansion space within One Allen Center.  We wanted to limit the impact our relocation would have on our clients and employees,” said Chris Brown, vice president at ReSource. “Kent Smith at NAI Robert Lynn provided us every option we could possibly need during this transaction and ultimately helped us realize it was better to expand within our own building. As a result, we were able to maximize the economic conditions of the lease.”

“Our team provided an extensive analysis of different product types in Allen, McKinney and adjacent submarkets which aided in ReSource’s decision to expand its presence in Allen,” said Kent Smith, executive vice president of the NAI Robert Lynn Office Division. “The space was the last, largest block of Class A office space remaining in the market and brought the building to 92 percent occupancy. We are pleased with the outcome and that we were able to find the best possible opportunity for our client.”

The transaction was significant for the city of Allen and has given the area an economic boost. In fact, the Allen Economic Development Corporation (AEDC) played an influential role in the company’s decision to stay in Allen. As a result of ReSource’s office expansion and commitment to remaining in its current location, more families are expected to move to Allen due to the creation of nearly 50 new jobs.
