Announces October Classes and Events

MONTEREY, CA -- Bella’s Studio is Monterey ’s premiere design, sewing and crafting studio. Located at 140 W. Franklin Street, Suite 205 in Monterey , owner Bella Lofaso Brancato inspires you to learn it and make it!

It is a destination for seamsters to rally and create -- a space to work on anything they can imagine! This sewing lounge offers classes, but even better, owner Bella Lofaso Brancato offers her expertise and support.

The Studio is the perfect way to meet new people, learn sewing techniques, and test drive the latest sewing machines. Bella’s Studio’s goal is to make sewing more accessible, let seamsters work with one another, and pass on the skills to the next generation of fashionistas and crafters.

UPCOMING OCTOBER EVENTS

STITCHED JOURNEY EXPRESS YOUR SELF WITH PAPER & FABRIC

Express yourself with paper and fabric!   Join artist and author Patrice Vecchione for a day devoted to the imagination. In this stitched mixed-media collage workshop participants journey into creative self-expression using color, form, texture,  needle and thread. Materials include fabric, paper, & an eclectic range of embellishments. Afternoon tea & snack included. Bring photographs & personal memorials to add.

·         Materials Fee: $35.00

Holiday Apron Workshop

Bella loves aprons: from sassy hostess aprons to chic bistro aprons. Spend the day

in this workshop sewing with her as she shares some of her easy techniques, sewing knowledge and design concepts.

·         TIMES: 10-4 All day workshop-please bring a lunch

·         COST/MATERIALS: $95.00 includes Apron Pattern and material to complete one apron

Stitches & Stories

Our Stitches & Stories workshop series continues. Join this community of Makers and learn hand-stitching techniques working with organic USA cotton jersey. Project kits include a Fall Leaves, Table Runner, a Christmas Table Runner, and Fingerless Gloves.

· Open Studio for Personal Projects: COST: $70.00 / 10-hour punch card | Max enrollment: 4 students / hour

· An open lab where you can bring any project to work on, but you must schedule PERSONAL PROJECTS time with Bella. Private lessons are available for $40.00 an hour.

Bella’s Studio Punch Card/Personal Projects is an open-lab where you can bring any project to work on and have full use of the Studio, machines and sewing notions. Recommended for those with some sewing experience. Must call to reserve a spot, as space is limited to 4 per hour.
