Caballero Grill Hosts Oktoberfest to Benefit New Life Center for Victims of Abuse

Caballero Grill will hold their first Oktoberfest from 10/4 through 10/6. This event will include food, entertainment, contests and a kids zone.

PHOENIX - Sept. 24, 2013 - PRLog -- Mark your calendars now for the 1st Annual Caballero Grill Oktoberfest, to benefit the New Life Center, a local refuge for those that are physically abused.  The event will feature the best of German foods, wine and beers; ongoing live musical entertainment as well as performances by Stunt Masters BMX Impact and Kid Zone for the little ones.

Festivities begin on Friday, October 4th from 5 p.m. until midnight, Saturday, October 5th from noon until midnight and Sunday October 6th, from noon until 5 p.m.     Food and drinks will be available with tickets purchased at the entrance to the event. Special VIP Experience tickets are available for $45.00 per person.  The event will be held on the 3-acre plot of land directly behind Caballero Grill.

Food & Drink:

What’s Oktoberfest without great German food, wines and beers?  Caballero Grill will be serving it all up!  Not only will they be serving some German specialties, they will also have a wide range of other food items available like foods from the Grilled Cheese Truck, Bill Johnson’s Big Apple and Mr. Softee.

Other available options include:

·         Currywurst Sausage

·         Roasted Chicken Thigh on a stick

·         Classic grilled Beer Brats with Caramelized Onions and Sauerkraut, with mustard on a warm roll.

·         Meatballs with Pale Ale Beer white sauce, capers, pickles and fresh dill.

·         Pretzels with cheese sauce

·         Hot dogs and chips

·         Cookies and Brownies

·         Fruit on a stick

Beverage options include:

·         Wine garden featuring a number of wine selections including Peter Mertes Riesling and Sweet Red wine.

·         Domestic Beers from Coors Brewing Company

·         Leinenkugel Oktoberfest Beer

·         Khrombacher German Beers

·         Red Apple Ale

·         Crater Lake Vodka and Rockstar Energy Drink

·         Fireball

·         Soft Drinks from Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company

VIP Tickets:

Anyone looking to upgrade their Oktoberfest experience can purchase VIP tickets for $45.00 per person.  The VIP pass will gain you access to the private VIP tent and Caballero deck area where there will be an ongoing private buffet, a large selection of German Craft beers and special commemorative gifts like souvenir beer stein, T-shirt and Lanyard.  Beers only available in the VIP tent include:  Reissdorf Kolsch, Freigeist Abraxxas Smoked, Lichtenhainer Weisse, Freigeist Hoppeditz Altbier, Rittergut Gose, Sudwerk Fest Marzen, Kulmbacher EKU Pils, and Kulmbacher Eisbock.

“We are looking forward to our first Oktoberfest and to making this an annual event that features great food, wine and beers, great entertainment and something for everyone, no matter what your age,” said Paul Fratella, co-founder of Caballero Grill.  “Those taking part in this event are not only promised a great time, but the peace-of-mind of knowing that they are supporting a worthy cause, since the event will benefit the New Life Center that provides assistance to those that are victims of domestic violence.  We hope the local community will come out and support our efforts”.

Caballero Grill also offers Sunday Champagne Brunch which runs from 9 to 2 each week.  It features a made to order omelet station, carved beef, crab legs, jumbo shrimp, mussels as well as many items featured on their menu.  Brunch selections also includes a wide variety of fresh fruits and desserts, champagne and mimosa.  A supplemental Bloody Mary Bar is an additional $2 per glass.  The price is $20 per adult and kids (12 and under) $8; though special holiday brunches are somewhat higher.  Caballero Grill also offers lunch specials Monday through Friday; daily happy hour runs from 2 to 7 and again from 9 until close.

Both founders of Caballero Grill Paul Fratella and Anthony Guerriero believe in giving back to the local community and have created alliances with several non-profit organizations including Blue Star Mom’s, Soldiers Best Friend, Avondale School District, Sun Canyon Elementary, Millennium High School, Homeless Youth Connection, The Montessori, The New Life Center and other local groups.
