Little Spurs Pediatric Urgent Care Announces Ms. Florence A. Morrison as Human Resources Manager

SAN ANTONIO - Sept. 23, 2013 - PRLog -- San Antonio, Texas, Sept. 18, 2013 – Little Spurs Pediatric Urgent Care CEO Thomas Spurgat, MD, announces the appointment of Ms. Florence A. Morrison to the position of Human Resources Manager. Ms. Morrison brings a variety of experience in Human Resources Management to the Company. Ms. Morrison’s 8 years of experience with industry giant, BP America of Houston, and 5 years with Pioneer Hi-Bred International of Des Moines, IA, aligns her understanding of organizational growth with organizational success. Ms. Morrison’s prior experience includes Managing Human Resources Departments, teaching Human Resource software, and developing training media for Human Resources use. She has written Human Resource manuals, consulted on software application projects and provided technical training for Human Resources Departments. In addition, Ms. Morrison served as a Help Desk Analyst at Purdue University. Ms. Morrison began her tenure at Little Spurs Pediatric Urgent Care on Monday, September 16, 2013. She will become an integral part of the support team for the rapidly expanding Little Spurs Pediatric Urgent Care clinics.

Ms. Morrison attended University of New Orleans and the University of North Texas where she graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Science in Applied Technology and Performance Improvement with Cum Laude honors. Ms. Morrison’s education and experience in Human Resources management and training will be a valuable addition to the Little Spurs Pediatric Urgent Care organization.

Within the scope of this new role, Ms. Morrison will be responsible for Human Resources Management, Development, Support, and Training for the company. She will lead all aspects of the Human Resources Department, with a focus on efficiency and optimum use of resources.

Ms. Morrison's depth of experience, leadership skills and track record of success will focus the Little Spurs Pediatric Urgent Care organization toward the next major phase of growth.
