Follow on Google News | Geomant Achieves Microsoft Qualification for its Lync 2013 Recording solutionFollowing extensive testing by Microsoft Corp., the Geomant Lync Contact Recorder is now a qualified recording solution for Microsoft Lync 2013.
The Microsoft Lync ISV Qualification Program allows Independent Software Vendors to have their solutions independently tested against a rigorous test plan. “The Geomant Contact Recorder for Lync Server 2013 helps organizations maintain a central repository for more secure archival of recorded calls.” said Jon Morrow, Senior Program Manager for Lync Partner Engineering at Microsoft. “We are delighted that Geomant has taken this solution through the qualification program to demonstrate its interoperability with Lync Server 2013." Part of Geomant’s portfolio of Lync solutions, Geomant’s Lync Contact Recorder allows regulated and customer-focused organizations to record inbound and outbound Lync voice conversations. Complementary to Geomant’s Contact Center solution, Contact Expert, Geomant’s Lync Contact Recorder is a passive, network based, solution, which has no impact on the call experience. Recording takes place centrally, with call recordings and associated data securely stored for subsequent access. The recorder’s on-line application allows for easy searching and review of recorded calls. Options include Quality Management, Desktop Screen Capture and pause and restart. Geomant’s solution can be deployed in almost any Lync architecture. “We are excited to have another of our solutions qualified under Microsoft’s Lync ISV Qualification Program” said Kevin Ross, Geomant’s Product Director. “We have many years’ experience developing and deploying practical and innovative unified communications solutions to customers across the globe. This Microsoft qualification demonstrates our ongoing commitment to quality and innovation”. End
