Mazda Announces Pricing for the 2014 Mazda CX-9 Crossover SUV

TINLEY PARK, Ill. - Sept. 20, 2013 - PRLog -- The 2013 Mazda CX-9 received a major refresh with a new design utilizing Mazda’s Kodo language. This year, the 2014 Mazda CX-9 will return to Community Mazda in Tinley Park with even more changes including a new 20-inch wheel designs and new colors options. Mazda has revealed the vehicle will start with an MSRP of $30,780, which includes all destination charges.

Every Mazda CX-9 offers a standard 3.7L V6 engine paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, but drivers can choose to upgrade to all-wheel drive. All Mazda owners can also add an additional $200 for a Crystal White Pearl Mica paint job.

On the standard base Sport model, there is an optional features package for $690 that gives the driver heated mirrors, seats, and a power-operated driver’s seat. Moving up, the MSRP for the Touring trim level is set at $33,275. This trim offers the aforementioned optional features in addition to leather seats, rearview camera, and a blind spot monitoring system. The Touring Technology package upgrade adds navigation, satellite radio, and a 10-speaker audio system from Bose.

The highest Grand Touring trim level is priced at an MSRP of $35,830. These models offer the new 20-inch wheels, a power liftgate, and many other features like a push-button start. There are also a few optional packages, like the GT Technology package, equipping the Grand Touring CX-9 with satellite radio, a Bose audio system, navigation, and a powered moonroof.

Models with the GT package can also add a $100 towing option that will allow the car to tow up to 3500 pounds. To keep backseat passengers entertained, a $3245 package will give the driver one more Bose speaker, navigation, satellite radio, and a nine-inch screen to watch DVDs on.
