ABA Jersey Express to Play AND1 Team in Basketball Game @ Shabazz High School, Saturday September 21

NEWARK, N.J. - Sept. 20, 2013 - PRLog -- Newark, NJ – September 19, 2013 – The ABA Jersey Express basketball team will take on the AND1 team in a game on Saturday, September 21 at 5 p.m. The game will be played at the Shabazz High School Gym at 80 Johnson Avenue in Newark’s West Ward.

The Jersey Express and AND1 will also make a special appearance at be at JFK Recreation Center on Friday, September 20 at 5:30 p.m., located at 211 West Kinney Street, to engage with youth and encourage them to get involved in sports.

The Jersey Express is an eight-year-old ABA franchise and currently the state’s only professional basketball team. For the 2013-14 season, the Jersey Express will play all its home games at the Malcolm X Shabazz High School gymnasium. In previous seasons, the team played some of its home games at Essex County College.

The Newark community is invited to come out to support the Jersey Express and AND1. Seating is limited, so attendees should arrive early. See attached flyer for ticket information.
