By: Creative Energy Options White Haven Pa. August 27, 2012 --- Sylvia Lafair, PhD does it again! Her new website GUTSY WOMEN LEAD is filled with information for women leaders who are ready to make their mark on the world. Her book, “GUTSY: How Women Leaders Make Change,” (http://www.gutsywomenlead.com/) The website offers a place to learn about Dr. Lafair’ s Programs, including the GUTSY WOMEN WEEKEND scheduled for November 1-3, 2013 at The Country Place Retreat and Conference Center in Northeastern Pa. Lafair has been a business consultant and leadership expert for the past 30 years and has encouraged women to speak out and be heard in their work settings in ways that create collaboration with their male counterparts. Her GUTSY website is a companion to the Sylvialafair.com (http://www.sylvialafair.com) website where you can take the pattern aware quiz to find out what behavior patterns you learned as a child that you bring with you into the workplace. Her unique experiential processes are both fun and energizing and she has made her mark on many women who have been promoted time after time using the tools and techniques they have learned in Dr. Lafair’ s workshops. “I would not have ever gotten to the position of President of my company without the specific understanding of behavior patterns in the workplace I learned working with Sylvia over the past many years. She helped me find the root causes of communication conflicts with a diverse group of scientists and sales people so we could all agree to work together more effectively” Recently seen on the Today Show (http://www.today.com/ The website also gives women an opportunity to join a community of like-minded individuals who want to make themselves, their families, and their work environments the best they can be. Lafair will offer her newest research and methods for, what she calls “Practicing Safe Stress”. She discusses the fact that the biggest and most costly problem in today’s workplace are about conflict and related stress. She offers her OUT Technique™ which gives a roadmap for learning what pushes our buttons and what to do to handle the stress and strain of annoying situations. The GUTSY Website also has some fun products including a T-shirt saying “It’s good to be GUTSY” that makes a super gift for women of all ages.
