A celebration 100 years in the making, Regional business district spotlights begin in Barnegat
This November, the Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce begins counting down to a century of service with a little help from its friends.
The Southern Ocean County Chamber serves as a regional chamber of commerce and prides itself with strong relationships with business leaders and key stakeholders throughout the county. The Chamber will be hosting a Centennial Old Times Luncheon on November 12 which will feature a presentation from Tim Hart, Ocean County Historian and a panel of long time business owners to speak about the challenges and advantages of doing business in our region. This memorable event will be held in the ballroom of the Holiday Inn Manahawkin and is open to the entire business community. Reservations will be required, tickets are $20 and are available by calling 609 494 7211 or stopping into the Southern Ocean County Chamber Visitor Center at 265 W 9th Street in Ship Bottom. The party will continue in January at Tuckerton, March in Lacey and May in Stafford and end with the Centennial Summer celebrations on Long Beach Island.
