PORTLAND, Ore. - Sept. 19, 2013 - PRLog -- Bridgeport Village, Portland’s premier shopping and dining destination, is pleased to announce three different harvest and Halloween-inspired activities to take place during October, including the launch of their first annual Pumpkin Decorating Party and the ever-so-popular family event, Street of Treats.

The second annual Pumpkin Decorating Party on Saturday, October 12, will include hands-on fun for kids age 0-12, spooktacular games like "Mummy Wrap" and "Monster Mash Dance Freeze," as well as music and prizes.  Guests can also view boo-tiful creations by our Master Pumpkin Carver, who will be hard at work during the event. Visitors to Bridgeport Village are invited to pose for pictures with the festive harvest photo backdrop and décor provided by Lee Farms of Tualatin.  The popular Radio Disney AM 1640 Road Crew will host a putt-putt challenge and will have a special prize wheel that kids and families can spin for prizes.

The Streets of Treats event will take place Saturday October 26th, under the giant gazebo in Bridgeport Village.   Kids and families are invited to participate in games and activities including the Wicked Witch Apple Shack, singing, dancing, and of course dressing up in their favorite costumes. Guests will be entertained by a live Radio Disney DJ, playing festive Halloween music.  Children and their parents are invited to trick-or-treat in Bridgeport Village stores, who each will have special treats.  The event will be capped by a costume contest with prizes.

Then, on Halloween, October 31st, families will enjoy safe, fun Trick-or-Treating throughout the Village.

All events are free and open to the public courtesy of Bridgeport Village, and powered by Radio Disney , AM 1640, part of the #1 radio network for kids, tweens and families.

“Streets of Treats are one of the most highly anticipated annual community events at Bridgeport Village, and our new Pumpkin Decorating Party is sure to become an annual family tradition,” said Sarah Sumpter, Marketing Manager for Bridgeport Village. “It’s so fun to see all costumes and smiles with kids having a great time celebrating Halloween at a festive, fun and safe event.”
