Irish Nutrionist launches recipe blog - for everyone, including coeliac and dairy-free diets

Launch of Annaslarder food blog - love your food, love your body

WALKINSTOWN, Ireland - Sept. 24, 2013 - PRLog -- New Irish Healthy Food Blog launched 11 August 2013: www.annaslarder.wordpress.com

Love food but love your body too?  Want to look and feel your best without compromising on taste?  This Irish recipe blog, might be the answer.  Irish nutritionist Anna Collins has set up her new food blog http://www.annaslarder.wordpress.com with inspirational recipes to help boost the health and wellbeing of yourself and your loved ones.  The blog consists mostly of recipes but sometimes Anna posts information about high quality food suppliers or products that she loves.

Anna pays special attention to people who want to eat and feel well or who might be coeliac, gluten- or dairy-intolerant.  With every single recipe clearly tagged if it is gluten and dairy-free, you won’t feel sidelined if you have “special dietary requirements”.

Whats different about this blog?
There’s nothing cheffy or over-styled about these recipes or their presentation, and everything is easy to duplicate at home.  Anna adapts a lot of classic recipes to make them suitable for people who want a healthier version, or one that avoids common food allergens. One of the annoying features of many coeliac recipes is that they are based on low quality substitutes for gluten foods.  People who are coeliac need an even healthier diet than normal, as their digestive systems struggle to absorb nutrients properly.

Recipes tend to be seasonal and topical too.  In August/September, for example, a special focus is put on school lunchboxes, with tips on how help your child’s learning and behaviour with healthy options for lunches and sweet treats.  She even explains about how to make dietary changes easier by doing them gradually.

A popular aspect of this blog is how Anna explains how and why every recipe is good for you.  With her professional nutrition background she is not just making a guess about what is “healthy”.  Her “larder & shopping” section tells you where to get hold of new foods you may not have tried before.

This blog is Annas a way of sharing many of the simple recipes and meal ideas she has been collecting since her teens.  Anna has been fascinated by the effects of food on health since the first ten years of her life were spent being pretty sickly.  This changed dramatically when her family, inspired by her uncle Ted, chucked the old eating habits and moved to a more natural, varied diet.  Ted is an inspiration, still going strong and working on many projects in his 80th year in sunny Australia.  You can find out more about me, including ways to enhance your skin, hair or digestive health,  on http://www.annacollins.ie.  You can even get my FREE reports and monthly newsletter with featured recipe through my website.
