EXCELSIOR, Minn. - Sept. 19, 2013 - PRLog -- Excelsior, MN – Tickets are now on sale for “Pancreatic Cancer Concert-MN”. This event features an evening with 80’s rock stars John Cafferty and Michael “Tunes” Antunes/Beaver Brown Band on the 30th anniversary of the release of the movie soundtrack “Eddie & the Cruisers” which launched national their chart topping songs “Dark Side” and “Tender Years”. In the band’s next album, singles “Tough All Over” and “C.I.T.Y” also achieved national acclaim. Kevin Chalfant, who was the first lead singer to stand in for Steve Perry and perform with the band JOURNEY live will also perform at this event on Thursday November 7th at Bay view Event Center in Excelsior, MN. Chalfant will perform “Don’t Stop Believin” “Separate Ways” “Faithfully” and all the hit songs he had sang with this iconic band. There will be a silent/live auction and other special guests. This event was inspired by Gary Wellner and his family as he fights Pancreatic Cancer with treatment at the University of Minnesota. Limited seating available.
