IP Global Autumn Regatta – 28 and 29 September 2013

Sept. 18, 2013 - PRLog -- Open to all Hong Kong’s keelboat sailors, the regatta will feature over 100 boats hailing from eight one-design classes and the ‘Big Boats’. Competitors will gather in Causeway Bay for one race on Saturday and two back-to-back races on Sunday.

The ‘around-the-cans’ courses to be sailed are likely to take in Hong Kong landmarks such as Shau Kei Wan, Tai Koo Shing and Hung Hom and will be selected on the day by race officer Sofia Mascia, taking into account the prevailing winds and tides.

The prizegiving for the event will take place at RHKYC’s Kellett Island clubhouse at around 1830hrs on Sunday evening, after racing has finished.
