Austin Start-Up ‘BrickTrends’ Rebranded ‘Shelfbucks’ as Company Preps for Launch at DEMO
Name change better reflects smartphone-based technology that will forever change how consumers interact with product brands in retail locations.

Investor Brett Hurt, co-founder and vice chairman of social commerce solution provider Bazaarvoice and founder of web analytics firm Coremetrics, will also serve as Shelfbucks executive chairman. Hurt and McMillan are supported by an executive team of similarly successful entrepreneurs and retail technology specialists from Dell, Mail.com, Groupon, CompuCom, HomeAway and Demand Media.
