Authentix Products Unveils the 70th Anniversary Little Prince Plush toys

Authentix Products is proud to announce the a new line of Little Prince Plush toys on the crowd funding site Indiegogo to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the book the Little Prince (Le Petit Prince) written in 1943 by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, the famous French Aviator.

“We, as fans of the story, really wanted to create some new plush toys to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the book this year. So we decided to look to the original drawings for inspiration.“ Said Authentix’s Design Director Charles Medd

“ We took the original illustrations by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry and used them to create accurately dimensioned technical drawings, to closely follow the scale and proportions of each character, as he drew them. The focus has really been on the attention to detail and the use of soft materials”

“The Little Prince being the star of the book was the natural character to launch as the first of the line. He stands about 14 inches tall (35.5cm) , and is made of a soft and colorful microfibre fabric. His eyes, mouth and other features are added using detailed embroidery. From his soft velvet Kimono, flowing scarf and brushable hair with his classic  smile, this huggable Little Prince  is now ready to make new friends to cuddle with!”

The second phase will be the launch of the The sheep and the Fox characters.The Little Prince Fans will enjoy adding these soft cuddly toys to their collection
