He also holds the North American Boxing Federation (NABF) cruiserweight title, which he’ll be defending on Nov. 30 at the Mississauga Hershey Centre against Garrett Wilson (13-6-1).

Also this week, amatuer boxer Lucas Rowe, won Gold at the WBC Canadian Championships in Langley BC Friday night.  Rowe won his bout via  a unanimous decision over his opponent in the East vs West event.  This win, followed Silver medal in Missouri at the largest boxing tournament in the world, the Ringside World Championships, puts him into position to travel to the WBC World Amatuer Cup in Europe later this year.

Daley started his professional career with Boxing By Syd Vanderpool in 2010, and Rowe his amateur career in 2008, under the tutelage of former #1 World Ranked Syd”The Jewel” Vanderpool.   “I love seeing the possibilities in young boxers and then providing them with the tools to achieve their dreams” says Syd Vanderpool about why he is so passionate about his ability to develop champions.  More up and coming boxers are visiting the Boxing by Syd facility in Kitchener to work with Vanderpool and his boxers as they prepare for their own bouts.  The successes of both amatuer and professional boxers from the club are being noticed throughout the Canadian boxing community.  Tickets for Daley's upcoming match will be available through Ticketmaster in October. Look to see Lucas Rowe in a homecoming match up in October in Kitchener. You can contact 519-571-1269 for tickets to that event.
