Chicago Southland Convention & Visitors Bureau Welcomes New Marketing Manager

Danielle Sparavalo joins the Chicago Southland Convention & Visitors Bureau
 
LANSING, Ill. - Sept. 17, 2013 - PRLog -- Lansing, Ill. – Danielle Sparavalo was recently hired by the Chicago Southland Convention & Visitors Bureau as the Marketing Manager. In her new position, Sparavalo will utilize social media and e-marketing platforms in conjunction with other media to market the Chicago Southland as a unique, convenient and affordable destination. She will also plan and execute a variety of CVB special events and activities.

Sparavalo has worked in a variety of marketing and communications positions in the Chicago area including Marketing Coordinator at Lisa Grant Orthodontics in Homewood, Ill., and Media Research Editor with Cision, a public relations services firm in Chicago. She graduated from Purdue University Calumet, Hammond, Ind., with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations.

“I look forward to increasing engagement and reach with potential visitors through all of our social media channels,” said Sparavalo. “With such a great variety of attractions, festivals, restaurants and hotels, we have an incredible destination for all types of visitors.”
