DONCASTER, U.K. - Sept. 17, 2013 - PRLog -- Residents at Miller Homes’ developments across Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and North Nottinghamshire are being urged to put the kettle on and invite all their friends and neighbours round for a cuppa in support of 'The World's Biggest Coffee Morning' (http://coffee.macmillan.org.uk/Home.aspx#.UgtLV20bink).

The annual event, hosted by Macmillan, will this year take place on Friday 27th September and it is hoped that residents will take the opportunity to extend the arm of friendship to fellow homeowners to raise money for this worthwhile charity. And, for each event that is held at one of its developments in the region, Miller Homes will donate a box of Yorkshire Tea and jar of coffee to help the proceedings go down a treat!

"The World's Biggest Coffee Morning is a great event raising money for a fantastic cause," said Steve McElroy sales director Miller Homes Yorkshire. "It's a great opportunity too for homeowners at our developments to invite their neighbours round and get to know them all whilst enjoying a cuppa and a slice of cake."

Miller Homes’ developments are renowned for being friendly communities but for those that may work long or unsociable hours spending time with friends and neighbours can prove problematic. And even though the event is strictly being held on a Friday, you could always move your event to the day after when more people are typically at home.

The event, which last year raised almost £15 million, sees thousands of people getting together across the globe to catch up on gossip, offer support, drink copious amounts of tea and coffee and eat cake, all for just making a small donation to this amazing charity.

"We all know someone who has been affected by cancer and the role that the Macmillan nurses play is pivotal in people's recovery and wellbeing," said Steve. "We urge you all to try and do your bit."

Miller Homes residents who are hosting an event and wish to claim their free box of tea should inform the sales office at their development by Sunday 22nd September.

Miller Homes Yorkshire currently has 15 developments located across the region. Properties range from two bedroom apartments priced from £66,995 to five bedroom executive homes priced from £279,000.
