Do friendship bracelets have its wearing rules?

Can be rules for the bracelets? Maybe can be rules of how to make bracelets long-lasting, interesting and original. But amber friendship bracelets have own wearing rules and gifting ritual and individual suggestions on what to do when you lose bracelets.  In Baltic States amber bracelets was given to the sailors by their wives because sea returns amber to the coast as she must return the man to the coast. Now amber friendship bracelet is given for the leaving person to return.

At first, if you have bracelets then you have to wear those bracelets for 7 days, to think about your friend and charge them with your love.

When you meet and start giving friendship bracelet to a friend tell him to close his eyes and stretch out his hand. Then you have slowly put those both bracelets in his hand and whisper:

,, With those bracelets  I give you my friendship, and if you want you can share with me yours ”

Then your friend should put one of them on your wrist and hug you.

Or he/she can take one day to think. But he/she have to take both bracelets.

After that he/she can accept your friendship or must gift both those bracelets to someone else (but you cannot inform him/her about second option).

What to do if you lose amber friendship bracelet?

a) if a girl lost - she should get another one, from a friend and a lot of ice-creams for huge moral damage.

b) if a boy lost - he's a pig :) And the pig should get a kiss of forgiveness.

So when it is Love and when it is Friendship?  You have to decide.
