MYELOTEC CORPORATION AWARDED FEDERAL SUPPLY SCHEDULE

ROSWELL, GA, September 17, 2013.  Myelotec, Inc. a manufacturer of minimally invasive spinal and orthopedic medical devices including its line of steerable catheter and endoscope technologies, received notification on June 15^th, 2012 that it has been awarded a Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) contract by the Department of Veterans Affairs.  These 5-year contracts are available for use by all US Government agencies.

TAMM Net, Inc. represents Myelotec to the VA and DoD and successfully negotiated this contract for us.  The successful product validation process now positions Myelotec instruments for access and use by doctors at all Federal medical facilities,” said Richard Wunderlich, CEO of Myelotec. “In addition, Myelotec is in the process of initiating clinical trials in several of these locations, further cementing our relationship with federal medical treatment facilities.”

Combined, federal purchasers bought over $14 billion in healthcare products in 2011, the most recent year those figures are available. That number is in addition to over $3 billion purchased by the Department of Defense, who also awarded Myelotec a distribution and pricing agreement, DAPA. As a multiple contract holder, Myelotec will be able to add new products to these agreements as we expand our product line, creating significant value for the organization as a contract holder.  This also makes it easier for Myelotec to work with distributors across the US.
