Videojet® New Colour Break Through that Suits Your Coding Requirements

HUNTINGDON, U.K. - Sept. 16, 2013 - PRLog -- These new ink colours were specially formulated to expand functional capabilities for the Videojet 2300 Large Character Series Printers.  Ink jet colour can be employed to increase visual functionality and interest in product packaging.  Colour may also be used as a visual cue to define product variants, or to link corporate brand/image with product packaging.

These inks have very similar application performance to the widely used M512-K black ink and have good performance on a range of porous papers and kraft board materials including those with high recycle content

Ink colors in this family are chemically compatible with each other, making for low risk during ink color changeover. (Note: proper switchover between colors is still required to archive consistent color match.)

Primary markets/applications

The inks provide visually attractive brand and/or product identification onto various paper and pulp-based raw materials such as wood and lumber.Colors can be used as visual cues to identify a particular sub-brand; to distinguish between different grades of lumber; or to indicate compliance to specific building codes.

The inks are excellent for brand coding onto porous finished products including secondary cartons and for identifying and differentiating outer wrappings of various weights and grades of paper stock.

Coding on various porous substrates such as plain and coated paper packaging, bundles of pulp based product and other packaging can be achieved with these inks.

Manufacturers can also use spot color as an efficient in-plant visual management tool for quality control or inventory management.
