The winners:

Hilleberg Nammatj 2 winner of the 2013 Editor's Choice award. According to Gear Review Editor Max Neale,"The Nammatj is amazing. It's the most versitle tent we've ever tested. If we had to pick one two person tent for everything, this would be it. It's light enough to take on summer backpacking trips, comfortable enough for car camping and durable enough to scale tall peaks and cross polar regions."

Mountain Hardwear Direkt 2 winner of the Top Pick award for 2013. This award is given to a product that excels at a specific application. Gear Review Editor Neale explains,"The Direk 2 is best suited for winter alpine climbing. It is our highest rated ultralight single wall tent. It's strong, light, packs down really small and is 100% waterproof."

The Hilleberg Jannu also wins Top Pick award for 2013 because according to Gear Review Editor Neale, "It is the best for mountaineering and alpine climbing in the worst conditions. It's easy setup, great storm protection and light weight make it our hightest rated self-supporting dome tent."

The REI Arete ASL 2 winner of Best Buy award for 2013. This award goes to a product that not only recieves high scores on our tests but also has a very reasonable price. Gear Review Editor Max Neale reports,"The Arete ASL 2 is a solid four season tent. It's great for general use, winter or backcountry camping and the best value winter tent we've tested."
