Poricy Park Conservancy will hold its 2nd Annual Phantasmic Fall Series of events at Poricy Park, located at 345 Oak Hill Road, Middletown, NJ.

MIDDLETOWN, N.J. - Sept. 13, 2013 - PRLog -- Apple Fest!
Discover your favorite type of apple as we explore and celebrate the “foreign” fruit. We’ll have apples to taste, apples to press, apples to dry at the Apple Fest. Join us and put your shoulder to the cider press while learning all about this versatile fall crop. Appropriate for all ages (children must be accompanied by their adult). Please courteously register in advance. Meet at the Murray Farmstead. Regular program fees apply.

Scarecrow Creation & Exhibit Fundraiser
Embrace the fall season at Poricy Park while showing your creativity and support. Sponsor and decorate a scarecrow to be displayed at the Park. Great for families, school groups, PTA. Your Scarecrow will be proudly displayed with your name as a supporter of Poricy Park preservation. Build your scarecrow from noon - 2 pm on Sunday Oct 13th or bring your finished scarecrow to Nature Center and we will display it through Nov 8th! If you wish to build your scarecrow at the Nature Center on another day, please call for available dates. Frames to hold the scarecrow will be provided. Scarecrow Fundraiser Sponsorship: Individuals $35. each; Business $50 each

Halloween Haunt
Enjoy an old fashioned hauntingly good time at this Poricy Park favorite! Dare to join everyone at the fire pit and be entranced with spooky story telling, embark on a guided moonlight mystical trail hike. Haunted Halloween craft station and refreshments included.  Appropriate for all ages – not too scary for young ones! (children must be accompanied by their adult). Meet at the Nature Center. Please courteously register in advance. Friday, Oct. 18th, 6pm-8pm; Fee: $8 per child with adult; additional child $5 each

Spooky Gingerbread House
Create a tasty spooky gingerbread candy house to eat and display this season! Talented and experienced Eileen Beaumont will share her recipes and guide you as you decorate a home-made gingerbread house. Each freshly made house measures approximately 2 1/4” long by 3 1/4” tall by 2 3/4” wide prior to decorating. Appropriate for ages 7 to 107 (children must be accompanied & supervised by an adult). Advanced registration is needed to prepare the correct number of houses. Meet at the Nature Center. Saturday, Oct. 19th 3pm-4:30pm! Fee per house includes fresh gingerbread house, special frosting & candies: Advance registration required for baking preparation. $25-members; $30 non-members. Registration required by Oct. 14th. Maximum number is 12!

Haunted History Walks
Trek through the trails of Poricy Park as your specially trained guide regales you with haunted history and mysteries of Monmouth County. Event sponsored by Jersey Shore Ghost Tours. Appropriate for adults and children ages 9+. Purchase event tickets in advance-limited spaces available. Meet at the Nature Center.  Sundays, Oct. 20th & 27th, 5:30pm-6:30pm and 7pm-8pm. Fee: $12 adults & children over 12; $10 children ages 9-12; 60 minute haunted excursion.

Halloween Hullabaloo
Celebrate the spooky season by attending this awesome free event presented by Middletown Township Department of Recreation, Middletown Arts Center, and Poricy Park Conservancy! There will be costume contests, haunted hayrides and more!! Call Poricy Park Nature Center at 732-842-5966 for info in the event of inclement weather. Friday Night, October 25th, 5pm-8pm
