This Makes Me Sick -When Will Enough Be Enough

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. - Sept. 12, 2013 - PRLog -- The musician’s fan base use to go buy their albums, then they went and bought the 8 tracks, of course we all went and got a few tapes in our lifetime.

Not no more, In the new world of digital downloads everyone goes and finds a place to download music for free. As I have watched my singer/songwriter friends over the last 10 years pour their hearts in to their music, to only have some website geared towards free downloads pick their bones. This makes me sick. I get phone calls and emails saying can you send me a copy of the great song I just listen to? I nicely say no but you can download it on Itunes or Amazon. Most responses are “you can’t just send it to me”..

The cost of past music was all industry based, and the singer/songwriter got robbed by them too. When will enough be enough, please support your favorite singer/songwriter, and bands by searching out their names on Itunes or Amazon.

We use to sit for hours looking at album covers, we had gone out an bought. Today the singer/songwriter, and bands album covers in most cases are their websites stop by check them out. We have thousands great musicians out there that need our support. At least buy a .99 cent download so they can buy a chicken sandwich off the dollar value meal.

It’s the same thing with the addiction treatment community. They sit at their call centers waiting for that next click to pay ad to generate a body for their centers.  When they are asked would you like to support a recovery cause community event they say “SORRY NOT IN THE BUDGET” or worst yet “HOW IS THAT GOING TO FILL OUR BEDS”.  The best yet was a treatment center owner who told me, I was marketing RIR to much. This same person does click to pays everywhere at the tune of thousand per click through. You CAN’T make this stuff up. LOL

I’m actually getting phone calls, and emails from people in the treatment industry that won’t support the cause by sponsoring it, but now they are asking if their clients can come for free. WOW .. When Will Enough Be Enough.
