First of Sussex Toastmasters to Compete in Area Speech Contest

SPARTA, N.J. - Sept. 11, 2013 - PRLog -- First of Sussex Toastmasters club Humorous Speech and Table Topics contests winners Phil Sweet and Wayne Rossi will compete with four other Toastmasters club contest winners from northern New Jersey on Thursday, September 19^th, 6 p.m. at Denville Community Church, 190 Diamond Spring Road, Denville, New Jersey.

There will be two more rounds of exciting contests leading up to the District Contest at the Toastmasters District 83 Conference at the Crown Plaza in Edison, NJ on November 9^th.

First of Sussex Toastmasters Club is a local chapter of Toastmasters International, a non-profit leadership and communication development organization devoted to creating effective leaders and communicators worldwide.

Toastmasters clubs offer a supportive and positive learning environment where members are empowered to learn the arts of speaking, listening and thinking skills to improve self-confidence, enhance communication skills, and develop leadership potential.
