Gene Woods Racing Experience Grand Opening Celebration at the Sports Center of Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS - Sept. 11, 2013 - PRLog -- Gene Woods Celebrates the Grand Opening of Las Vegas’ premiere outdoor go kart racing track located at the Sports Center of Las Vegas.

WHAT:

The public is invited to celebrate the grand opening of the Gene Woods Racing Experience located at the Sports Center of Las Vegas.

This High-performance attraction offers head-to-head racing just inches off the ground. Speed

around the half-mile track named for the racing veteran and three-time champion. These high

performance cars can hit speeds fast enough to give you an incredible thrill. Top off the

experience with Gene Woods, the legend himself, during a fun meet and greet.

Guests arriving by 7pm will receive a wristband to experience the thrill of karting with free rides from 9pm to 10pm following the ceremony.   The grand opening event will include entertainment featuring local artists and celebrities including the comedy of Las Vegas Larry the Cable Guy and the magic of MagicAL Jensen.  Guest speakers at the event will include Nick Brannigan from Health Conspiracy Radio, Suzi Babbio from 30 Forever and a Raw Food Demo/Sampling from Sugarcoat.

ABOUT GENE WOODS:

Gene won his first race at 8 years old when most kids their first bicycle.  By 9, he had already won a championship.  This was the start of a career that has spanned over 30years and almost as many championships.  Gene’s record includes 3 time U.S. Open National Championships on Speedway Motorcycles, numerous national and world mini cycle championships, snowmobile and ATV championships.  Two years in top 10 NASCAR Grand National West Series, in his first and only attempt, a second place in the Circuit of Champions Monster Trucks driving the famous King Cobra and 3 seasons racing COOR and Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series along with many other awards and championships around the world.
