VoIPCloud secures Series A round of investment

VANCOUVER, British Columbia - Sept. 10, 2013 - PRLog -- VoIPCloud secures its first large investment round to help develop and manage their cloud-based Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) SIP network, QoE (Quality of Experience) monitoring and upcoming mobile applications; MobileCloud™ App and MobileCloud™ WhiteLabel - currently part of VoIPCloud Research Labs. VoIPCloud Research Labs is a bleeding edge private research lab whose mission is to explore applications of next generation computing and telephony technologies through beta testing, white hat (ethical) hacking, and early open source software adoption.

Founded in January 2013, the Vancouver based company is just one of many VoIP companies to emerge in recent years. The Series A round of investment, led by a private investor, is significant - valued at $220 000/CDN (Canadian Dollars) - and takes the "new to the industry" player, VoIPCloud, to the next level. The investment will predominantly be used to aggressively pursue the quickly expanding cloud-based telecom market and apps for the newly emerging VoLTE 4G mobile industry, according to VoIPCloud’s CEO Nathan Wosnack.
