August 28, 2013, Pomfret, CT . . . Celebrations Gallery & Shoppes invites you to Pumpkins & Mums & Gourds, Oh My!, an exhibition of original artwork that runs from September 28 – October 27, with a Meet the Artists Opening Reception, Saturday, September 28, 5-8PM. Celebrations invited artists to create multi-faceted pieces with a festive fall-time twist and let the beauty of the autumnal season in all its blazing glory inspire them.

Nineteen different local and regional artists will be featured during the exhibition, working in a wide variety of media and styles. A diverse spectrum of work includes photography, sculpture, pastels, acrylics, oils, mixed media, watercolors, gourd art, jewelry, mosaics and hand painted silk. Save the date for upcoming Trunk Shows on Sunday, October 13th of Columbus Day Weekend. Celebrations will also offer extended shopping hours starting October 1st, when they will be open DAILY from 10AM to 5PM. Starting November 7th, Thursday nights from 5-7PM will be Happy Shopping Hours at Celebrations, including complimentary wine & nibbles—groups welcome!
