PMI Chicago promote value of social networking & partners with organization saving Chicago’s youth

PMI Chicagoland Chapter hosts Dinner Meeting, September 11, 2013, at the Westin Chicago River North. Social media expert, Sima Dahl headlines the event, followed by guest speakers from Ladies of Virtue (NFP) discussing the issue of human trafficking
 
CHICAGO - Sept. 6, 2013 - PRLog -- PMI-Chicagoland, the Chicago chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI), will host their monthly September dinner event on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at the Westin Chicago River North, 320 North Dearborn Street. Networking Reception will commence at 5.15pm and the event will finish at 8.15pm. Attendees must reserve a seat in advance. Price: $40 (Chapter members), $55 (Non-Chapter members). In remembrance of the tragic events of 9/11, America’s Heroes will be honored with one-minute silence before dinner commences at 6.15pm CT.

Attendees are encouraged to network with peers and learn from keynote speaker, Sima Dahl, who will advise on catapulting your career through practicing intentional social networking without spending all day on social media during her keynote address on “Advanced Personal Branding for Project Managers”.

PMI Chicagoland’s social outreach partner, Ladies of Virtue, a non-profit organization, will also talk during the evening about their anti-trafficking awareness initiative. In the midst of recent national attention on the issue of human trafficking, participants will share some shocking facts about what they have learned, the seriousness of the problem in our local areas and how their partnership with PMI-Chicagoland have garnered success.
