American Veterans Traveling Tribute & Traveling Wall Coming to Laughlin Veterans Day Weekend

LAUGHLIN, Nev. - Sept. 5, 2013 - PRLog -- Veterans and active members of America’s armed services travel great distances and make great sacrifices to preserve and protect freedom and liberty.  The Tropicana Laughlin Hotel and Casino in Laughlin, NV believes that these sacrifices should be honored and remembered, which is why the Tropicana is pleased to announce that the American Veterans Traveling Tribute and Traveling Vietnam Memorial Wall will be exhibited at the Tropicana Laughlin, November 8-11, 2013 and will be available for viewing 24 hours a day in the North Parking Lot of the hotel.

The public is invited to view the wall free of charge and make rubbings of the names of their fallen loved ones.

The Traveling Wall is a 370-feet long replica of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. The 80% scale reproduction, which stands 8-feet tall at its apex, contains all 53,253 names as inscribed on the original wall.

For those wishing to remember their visit, memorabilia will be available for purchase.

The AVTT is an authorized donation station for Operation Gratitude (www.operationgratitude.com), and collects donations of monies and items to place into packages, as well as collects letters to our men and women in uniform. Operation Gratitude annually sends 100,000+ care packages filled with snacks, entertainment items and personal letters of appreciation addressed to individually named U.S. Service Members deployed in hostile regions.
