San Francisco Bay Area Art Exhibition, 'Sense of Place' by Melinda Cootsona, Announced

BURLINGAME, Calif. - Sept. 8, 2013 - PRLog -- The Studio Shop is proud to announce a new art exhibition by Melinda Cootstona, one of Silicon Valley’s most pre-eminent artists. Melinda Cootsona focuses on abstract and figurative work, often combining elements of both. The artist draws inspiration from the Bay Area Figurative Movement of Richard Diebenkorn and David Park, vibrant and saturated with a keen sense of light.

“We are very excited about Melinda’s upcoming art exhibit at our studio,” explained Kristin Bensen, director of the Studio Shop. “The art exhibition runs from September 12th to the 28th, with an opening reception by the artist on September 12th at 6 pm and an artist talk on September 19th at 6 pm.”
