October 7: Economic Collapse and Martial Law Could Mean the End of America Warns Dr. Richard Ruhling

WILMINGTON, N.C. - Sept. 5, 2013 - PRLog -- Dr. Richard Ruhling's latest book, 'October 7: Economic Collapse and Martial Law Could Be the End of America', suggests that the October 7, 2013, may be the starting date for major troubles for America.

Why October 7?  'Bernanke Says Civilization Will End on September 18'. Those Wall St. Daily headlines about civilization ending were because the Fed plans to taper QE economic aid of buying bonds. Why not a concern about the economy in October?

October was when the stock market crashed in 1929.  And October will bring third quarter reports on stock earnings that may confirm suspicions that things are headed down.

Ruhling's book includes a link as to why readers should take their money out of the bank before then—they can always put it back if nothing happens.

"The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has been regionalizing disaster supplies and rapidly procuring hundreds of millions of ready-to-eat meals, blankets, and body bags. Coupled with the Department of Homeland Security’s suspiciously massive purchases of ammunition, firearms, and riot gear, it is becoming increasingly clear that the U.S. government is positioning itself in advance of an as of yet unknown widespread calamity.”

October is important from a biblical view. Most Christians and Jews celebrated Easter or Passover on the full moon at the end of March. But this meant the new moon that started the new month came two weeks earlier, before the spring equinox, March 20. October 7 is the new moon of the 7th month counting from April.

It didn't matters to millions who celebrate with Easter eggs and rabbits, but some major events have happened with biblical timing. For example October 1, 2008, when the U.S. Senate met to approve $760 billion in bailout for the banks, was the Feast of Trumpets. [Leviticus 23:24]

The thin crescent of the new moon was in the sky that night. In Bible times, they blew the ram's horn (trumpet) for 10 days as a summons for the Day of Atonement. That prefigured Judgment Day. And while America didn't have 10 days of trumpets in 2008, the stock market did crash for 10 days.

This year the new moon crescent should be visible on Sunday, October 6 making that night and Monday (October 7) the new moon day. The Bible says, “Blow the trumpet in the new moon.” [Psalm 81:3].

In the Bible, King Saul was looking for the new moon as an opportunity to kill David who had been anointed as the next king. Saul was jealous and when David didn't show up for the feast, Saul couldn’t contain his rage and said David must die. [1 Samuel 20:27-31].

If the stock market crashes and martial law is initiated, it suggests an interesting repeat of history and an openness to consider more of a biblical perspective.
