Columbus, Georgia's Ink (Atia Boggs) and Brunswick, Georgia's Jow (Joseph Davis) are the unbelievable team that make up the musical phenomenon known as Vintage Nation. This acoustic duo has an unbelievable, even unimaginable, sound that few musicians, singers, songwriters can bring. Soulful, rich earthly and rhythmic, this duo breaks the mold of any genre of music Theirs is a fusion of sounds inspired by some of the top acts in the music industry--Ella Fitzgerald, Stevie Wonder, Bob Dylan, Tracy Chapman just to name a few. As a result, Vintage Nation's music is a blend of smooth, smart lyrics gently bathed in sweet yet energetic harmonies. That, coupled with Jow and Ink's guitar-strumming, produces a sound that penetrates audiences right down to your core from the very first note.
Vintage nation is known for their outstanding live performances, which demonstrate the true description of a great Indie artist. As one of the featured performers for this year's Gala, Vintage Nation will share the stage with event honorees such Jennifer Brett (Access Atlanta's The Buzz), The Alliance Theatre, Maria Howell (Revolution and Devious Maids) and Melissa McBride (The Mist & The Walking Dead).
