The economic, social, environmental, future, marketing and technological aspects of sustainable transportation dominate the agenda.

Here are high level synopses of some topics to be covered:

The Nuts & Bolts:Carsharing, Bikesharing, Personal Vehicle Sharing, Ridesharing, Innovations for Providing & Sharing Rides, and Shuttle Services

Policy Approaches for City and County Governance Micro Level:

Considers existing and proposed shared-use mobility policy, both supportive and not,   at a local government and regulatory level.

Explores metrics for success of shared-use mobility in terms of  environmental sustainability, congestion mitigation, enhanced access, multi-modality, economic development, and job creation.

The Future of Mobility and Transportation Policy and Planning Macro Level:

Emphasizes sustainability, equity, access, multi-modality, and economic development on a “macro” or national level.  Features prominent transportation policymakers re-imagining future transportation investments, policy,  planning and public/private cooperation.

Fostering Multi-Modal Integration and Public Transit Connections

The terminal, transfer point, fare systems, regulation and other key factors in building towards seamless, efficient and affordable regional and national shared-use transport nets.

Insuring Shared-Use Mobility Services- Past, present and future challenges to insuring shared-use systems. Insurance recommendations for shared-use mobility services, shared-use actuarial data, and common methods for determining premiums. Strategies for overcoming insurance obstacles.

Education, Outreach, and Public Engagement- Mechanisms for education and outreach to and from stakeholders, governments, and the public. Recommended communication and marketing strategies for shared-use mobility programs, including social media strategies.

Bikesharing:  Funding 2.0 - Funding mechanisms for bikesharing capital investment in equipment, operations, and expansion.
