WINGFIELD, Australia - Sept. 4, 2013 - PRLog -- Lewis Construction Equipment in Adelaide, South Australia’s leading New Holland dealer, are now stocking the New Holland Rustler 115 and 120 utility vehicles.

These versatile and robust UVs are ideally suited to working in a wide variety of agricultural and construction environments, and this adaptability makes them a perfect choice for use in South Australia, where conditions and terrain vary so greatly from region to region.

“If you’re farming sheep or cattle out on the Fleurieu Peninsula, a local council maintaining your parks or golf courses, or running an orchard or vineyard in the Adelaide Hills, the Rustler is going to be able to do what you ask of it,” said Dylan Caldwell of Lewis Construction Equipment. “As well as a range of high-quality standard features, the Rustler can also be personalised with extra features such as front and rear steel skid plates and cargo protection cages, so you can be sure you’re getting a machine that’s fitted out to do exactly the sort of work you want it to do.”

The Rustler range of UVs is noted for its strength and adaptability. The two-person 115 model has a rugged steel frame and box construction, while the frame of the 120 model is made from lightweight, corrosion resistant 6061 aluminium as used in aircraft construction. Both models also come with high ground clearance (22.9cm on the 115, 20.8cm on the 120) and a power-to-weight ratio that means, regardless of the terrain, they can deal with heavy loads with ease and without bottoming out.

“The 115 model has a large-block, V-twin 14hp petrol engine, while the Rustler 120 is fitted with a 20hp liquid-cooled diesel engine,” added Dylan Caldwell. “Both can deliver a top speed of 40km/h, and the sealed CVT transmission with either shift-on-the-go or automatic 4WD, means you get exceptional power and traction. Plus, the CVT engine braking and four-wheel hydraulic disk brakes means it’s perfect for steep terrain and when you need to control speeds going downhill, like in an Adelaide Hills vineyard or orchard.”

Both models feature independent front suspension, while the 115 is fitted with independent rear suspension as well. This ensures a a smooth and stable ride regardless of the terrain, while the rack and pinion steering makes operating the Rustler as simple as driving a car.

Dylan Caldwell added, “The bed box on the Rustler is about 20% larger than on most comparable machines, meaning fewer trips and greater efficiency. It’s also constructed from powder-coated steel and has an aluminium floor, so it’s also stronger than the plastic boxes you find on other machines. The electric tray lifter on the 120 model also means quicker, more effective work. Another useful feature that our South Australian customers have appreciated is the front brush bar that comes as standard on the Rustler 120.”

Operator safety and comfort are also outstanding features on the Rustler, and it’s designed to make long hours of operation less of a strain. “There’s plenty of leg room on both models,” said Dylan Caldwell, “and the adjustable steering column helps, too. The Rustler also comes with a certified 4-point ROPS, grab handles and retractable seat belts, so you know your operators and passengers are always going to be able to travel safely.”

In addition, the Rustler range also comes with an industry-leading 2-year/2000 hour limited warranty.
