Intracoastal Bank Announces Volusia Banking Center

PALM COAST, Fla. - Sept. 3, 2013 - PRLog -- Palm Coast, FL (August 28, 2013) - Intracoastal Bank is pleased to announce its plans to build and open a new banking center in Volusia County.

The announcement was made during a press conference on August 28th that was hosted by the bank at Vince Carter’s Restaurant. The proposed new location of the bank is on LPGA Boulevard between Wendy’s and Vince Carter’s.  Intracoastal Bank Board of Directors and Management were present during the conference.

The new banking center will serve as Intracoastal Bank’s main office in Volusia County.  This will be the most centrally located bank in the main urban corridor of Volusia County. “One of the reasons Intracoastal Bank was established was to provide financial support to local businesses and the community to enhance economic development” said President and CEO, Bruce Page.  “We’ve been successful in Flagler County by putting high quality customer service and community support over everything else and we look forward to further expanding our services in Volusia County.  Our team (owners, board and staff) has strong ties to both the Flagler and Volusia markets.” he added.

Their plans include a new full service modernized banking center supported by state-of –the-art technology.  The banking center will be about 9,000 square feet which will provide adequate capacity to support future increases in employment as the bank grows.  Page estimates that initial employment will be approximately fifteen employees. “Our new Volusia location represents an important investment in human and financial resources,” said Page.

Intracoastal Bank’s lending division has been based out of Volusia County for the past two years.  The lending group will move to the new banking center and continue to be headquartered in Volusia County.  Rick Wells, Senior Lender for the Bank said that “combining a full service banking center with the lending center will further enhance the quality of service we are able to deliver to our clients along with increasing the Bank’s ability to invest in our surrounding communities.”
