-- September 21, 2013 - Seattle, WA – Award-winning choir, The Greater Works Chorale, & its founder DaNell Daymon, are invited back as the sole choir from the West coast to compete in Verizon’s How Sweet The Sound – a televised nationwide search for the best gospel choir in America. After receiving the Verizon’s People’s Choice Award in 2012, DaNell Daymon & The Greater Works Chorale are eager to return. The regional round will be held on Sunday, October 6th
, 2013 at Fox theatre in Detroit, Michigan.
Due to the format of the show this year, there will not be a regional competition held on the West Coast. The choir will be competing in Detroit Michigan, against East Coast and Southern Choirs with much more support. DaNell Daymon is the founder of an award-winning choir: Greater Works Chorale. Under his leadership they’ve won the regional “How Sweet the Sound” competition in 2012, and countless other singing competitions throughout the West Coast.
DaNell is a member of Ricky Dillard and New G Chorale. He is also the Executive Music Director at a major church in the Seattle, WA area.
