By: Body Politics With only a days to go before Australians cast their votes, the litany of gaffes, sackings, racist outbursts and meltdowns appears to stretch from Sydney to Perth via Darwin. And if that isn’t enough, a new video election ad has emerged that contains the 'f' word no less than ten times! So to celebrate (or perhaps commiserate) NUMBER ONE There’s too much f*&king going on in Australia But the winner of the uncouth and out-there award for best election stopping moment has got to be the video campaign advertisement from the Australian Sex Party that drops the F-bomb no less than 10 times and includes simulated sex, drugs and a pregnant teenager. Of course, Kosher food is okay because ‘Jews follow Jesus Christ’. WATCH THE VIDEO: http://www.youtube.com/ Number FOUR STOP THE BOATS, STOP THE BOATS, STOP THE BOATS Conservative candidate Jaymes Diaz’, standing for the Liberal Party, not only struggles to explain how his party would stop asylum seekers coming to Australia, he did so in the most gaffe-prone way possible. WATCH THE VIDEO: http://www.youtube.com/ Number FIVE GAME OF THRONES To kick off the election season, community activist organization GetUp! released a Game of Thrones themed video to explain the Australian political system. Unfortunately, much like the popular TV show it was fashioned after, the video left many viewers even more confused than before. WATCH THE VIDEO: http://www.youtube.com/ With such bizarre frivolity already, the real question is whether the Australian political landscape will pull out any new doozies in the final days of the campaign.
