SAMOBOR, Croatia - Sept. 2, 2013 - PRLog -- Geolux today announced the arrival of two new thermal digital imaging cameras, the NVS-100 series and TVC-100 series. The thermal cameras are powered by the Geolux X14 digital signal processing engine which guaranties excellent image quality. NVS-100 series and TVC-100 series can detect a target with a temperature difference of only 0.05 degrees in temperature variance which greatly improves target detection distance and visual contrast difference. The Geolux camera core thermal sensitivity reaches 50mK, resulting in clear cut, crisp video. All Geolux thermal engine sensors record video in 384x288 resolution at highly fast 30 frames-per-second.

NVS-100 is an extreamely lightweight portable robust, weather-proof thermal camera equipped with OLED viewfinder. NVS-100 has an internal Li-Ion battery that provides three hours of camera operation. In addition to displaying thermal video directly to OLED viewfinder, the camera can also store videos and still snapshots to SD card for later review and analysis on computer. NVS-100 can be ordered with 9mm, 19mm, 38mm and 75mm lens, and, depending on the selected lens type, it can detect human intruders up to 2 kilometers, and vehicles up to 4.5 kilometers ahead. The Geolux NVS-100 comes complete with a portable hard carry case for quick and easy deployment. It is compliant with MIL-STD-810 spec. for harsh environment use.

TVC-100 is a surveillance thermal IP camera. TVC-100 is able to connect to any wired/wireless Ethernet network to deliver digital live video stream. It is Power-over-Ethernet compatible, so there is no need for separate power supply cabling, which reduces installation and maintenance costs. TVC-100 camera support ONVIF standard protocol, so that it can be easily integrated into any existing CCTV infrastructure. In addition to digital Ethernet output, it is also equipped with analog composite video output.

"Geolux has been manufacturing surveillance cameras and radar sensors, for security, traffic and military monitoring applications, for the last six years. In order to improve threat detection in security systems, Geolux has expanded its product range with thermal cameras. Thermal cameras perfectly complement our microwave radar detectors for perimeter security applications, and our clients can benefit from having both technologies working together as one." said dr. Sanja Grubeša, Geolux CEO.
