An Evening of Shoes, Champagne and Chocolate in Boca Raton Raises $14,500 for Florence Fuller

Event Held at Neiman Marcus at Town Center Mall was Attended by 110 Women; Included Shoe Models, Raffles, Jazz Singer, Champagne and Dessert

BOCA RATON, Fla. - Aug. 30, 2013 - PRLog -- More than one-hundred women gathered in the Women’s Shoe Department of the Neiman Marcus in the Boca Raton Town Center Mall on Tuesday night – not only to check out the new shoes – but to raise money for the Florence Fuller Child Development Centers. And they did just that – raising $14,500 for the Boca Raton-based non-profit organization.

As part of “An Evening of Shoes, Champagne and Chocolate,” the one-hundred plus guests were treated to the music of jazz singer Deborah Paiva, raffles to some of Boca Raton’s best restaurants, hotels, spas, and services, as well as sparkling champagne and chocolate treats! The event was sponsored by Image360 of Boca Raton, SAMANDHEL Corp, DryClean To Go, and C. Gonzalez Photography. 110 people attended and according to the organizers, $14,500 was generated for the Florence Fuller Child Development Centers. The money was raised through ticket sales prior to the event and raffle tickets.

“We are so thankful to Neiman Marcus and the amazing women, including Mary Sol Gonzalez of Image 360 Boca Raton, Valentina Moretti of SAMANDHEL, and Yonnyt D’Alfonso of DryClean to Go, who put this event together,” said Ellyn Okrent, Florence Fuller Child Development Centers CEO. “Not only was it a fun, decadent evening of shoes, champagne, and chocolate, it was filled with great friends and professionals – all of whom came together to help our organization and the kids we support.”
