UK Lingerie Awards opens applicaton process

LONDON - Aug. 29, 2013 - PRLog -- Brands and retailers can now nominate themselves for accolades via the Awards’ website, which has recently undergone a revamp.

From there, entrants can learn about previous winners and key partners and download the application forms.

To apply, entrants will be asked to send one application form, one submission pack and one sample of product per category entered. All entries need to be sent by post or courier (email applications will not be accepted) before September 27, 2013.

The UK Lingerie Awards, in association with Fashion Forms, has doubled in size for 2013, with three new categories - Best Boudoir Brand of the Year, Best Regional Department Store of the Year and Best Lounge/Nightwear Brand of the Year – added to the programme.

The star-studded event, which takes place on December 4 at Covent Garden’s Freemasons' Hall, will also, in a first for the lingerie industry, open up to members of the public.

Marianne Trotta, commercial manager for the UK Lingerie Awards said: "It is with great joy that we can announce the applications for the 2013 UK Lingerie Awards are now open.

“We've already received an immense amount of interest from designers, buyers, brand managers and retailers wanting to take part in this year's awards so we are expecting applications to flood in from today. We’re also announcing names of some of the Awards’ judges in the coming weeks so watch this space!” Trotta added.
