According to neighboring local businesses, the criminal activity has clearly slowed down since their arrival. The agency is fully equipped with mobile vehicles bearing decal of the companies’ logo, services and slogan, an organized and welcoming home office located right in the community, and a longstanding passion of supporting “local” to help residents provide for their families. Viking Defense, Inc. received recognition in The Miami Herald as one of the first minority-owned small businesses to be approved for a loan with the Miami Bayside Foundation, Inc., a company that supports local business in the Miami area. The company is a licensed security agency with the State of Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. Viking Defense, Inc. became incorporated with the State of Florida on December 31, 2008, works as vendors with the City of Miami and Miami Dade County, and is certified with the Small Business Development Program as MICRO/SBE, DBE and HUD. Viking Defense, Inc. is also certified to do business with the United States Government. On December 14, 2012, Viking Defense, Inc. received its Security Officer Training School Permit to start D-License training classes for the community.  With over thirty years of experience and knowledge in the law enforcement and the security field, Viking Defense, Inc. has an elite group of well trained security officers, all of which have received training from some of the best instructors in South Florida, from Miami Dade College’s licensing department, and the main Viking Defense, Inc. office staff.
