Center for Vocational Rehabilitation to Host Family Support Group and Information Session

EATONTOWN, N.J. - Aug. 28, 2013 - PRLog -- Eatontown, NJ – August 28^th, 2013 The Center for Vocational Rehabilitation (CVR) will be hosting a family support group and information session at 12pm on Wednesday, September 25^th, 2013. The event will be held at CVR’s Eatontown facility and is open to all family members, friends, guardians and caregivers of individuals with special needs.

“Our goal for our support and information session is to continue to educate people responsible for individuals with special needs on the resources and techniques available to them as caregivers,” said Jennifer Nangano, Program Director at CVR. “At times it can be overwhelming to take care of someone with special needs and CVR recognizes that we not only need to support individuals with special needs, but we need to support the people who take care of them as well. In addition to discussing topics like stress management and problem solving, we also give session attendees opportunities to share their experiences.“

The event will last for approximately an hour and light refreshments will be served.
